Blodnob Valve…. wow
I was just messing around with my blodnob valve…. and I was getting around 1100 with 15.8gr JSB’s – I was adjusting the preload and tophat setting’s when I get a 1339fps shot – 62 fpe, with a 12″ barrel 😯
Going to give it a break for today and get back to it tomorrow – see if I can replicate that to make sure it wasnt an erroneous reading.

The best thing about the blodnob valve I’ve noticed so far is how efficient it is. It’s like having a modded hi-flow valve but with the efficiency of the standard valve. It is also noticeably quieter than my standard valve even though it’s putting out more fps. I also noticed that I can turn it down enough to shoot the same fps my standard tank was putting out with my 12″ barrel. So far I love it! I know this all sounds too good to be true but this valve is in a different league compared to the stock Airforce valves. Now I just have to figure out how to adjust it for maximum performance and how to lock down the tophat once adjusted. I can’t wait to combine this valve with my 20″, .25 cal. barrel!

and can make em crack if i crank it to 12
My mood changes as often as the weather – in a few weeks I might want to up the power and then I’d be in a pickle. Worth the try tho 😛

He sent me a heavy spring, but I’m not keen on heavy springs because it increases trigger weight and likely wear too so I’m using a stock spring.
well if thats all the power u want ill send u my modded hiflo valve and u send me that one even trade i like a lot of power with few shots

Let me know what you find out. I have one of his new ones too and I am getting 900+ fps with .22 caliber Beeman Kodiaks. I have not messed around with my tophat or tried to find a sweet spot yet so who knows what this thing can do! I am also shooting using a 12 inch .22 cal. barrel. I am also using the stock Airforce spring. The one he sent me is one of his experimental new springs and it was much too strong. Which spring are you using? I am also using a blodnob 90+ gram hammer and a blodnob breech.
I should have my 20″ barrel in .25 caliber from Don G. by this Saturday. I’ll let everyone know how it goes. I’ll be shooting .25 Beeman Kodiaks.
If thats the case, time to up the pellet weight bro! You may have a winner valve there.

Its either my combro is going nuts or you shouldn’t have a Blodnob valve with minimum load on the valve spring because today I got readings in the 1300’s and even 1489 for 1 shot.
I screwed the tophat in quite a lot and broke out the Shooting Chrony (that I’d ONLY just put away…) – After a few different tophat settings I ended up with a tiny bit of pre-load on the Hammer and 920fps with 15.8gr JSB’s which is 29 fpe – Right where I want it.
