I’m interested in getting a scope level myself. Which kind is the best to use ? I’ve seen ones that attach directly to scope or on scope rail. Do I need to use both to make sure scope is aligned properly and then just leave rail mounted one on for everyday use ? Thanks for the help!

Mike, great info. Thanks!

Fredrik,

On your 97 meter shooting video not bad but could improve greatly if you don’t mind me suggesting the use of a scope level to keep from canting rifle when shooting those longer distances, as indicated in the horizontal stringing of shots. I can see those six or seven shots on top of each other when you eliminate the canting. The reason for my suggestion is from my own experience. My shooting at approx. the same distances looked familiar to that of what you posted and by adding the level with only a bipod and a rear rest I have been able to get 3/4″ nine shoot groups with my R3M in .25. Look forward to seeing more videos. Cheers

I see it all of the time at my local 100 yard range with the FX guns. When I outshoot them at 100 yards and explain that it is the barrels and not them they tend to sell them. 😯 Realistically, though I don’t pest shoot much at 100 yards with the exception of this dead tree at 105 yards where the sparrows often stay. The ST barrels are very accurate out to about 75 yards and that covers 95% of my airgun shooting.

If I were a betting man I would guess you will see similar groups at 41 and better groups at 97.

Thanks Fredrick, what scope are you using?

That’s great on video and exactly what I would expect from the ST barrels. Very accurate out to medium range but then they fall apart at long range. I think it has to do with the spin speed but I am just guessing. If your are like me by far most shots are under 75 yards anyway.
