Bolt, Not breech
On all my other guns the thing with the little handle on it that cocks the gun is called a bolt. The place were you load the bullet is called the breech.
I even called Air Force to order a breech and they said it was called a bolt.
Just wondering how this got started, looked back into old posts and this has been going on a long time.

Probably was started by the same type of person who calls a gun using CO2 an AIRgun. 🙄
people get stuff mislabeled all the time.
BTW there is no Egg in Eggplant either 🙂
the delrin part and also the cut out to load the pellet has always been called the breech hasn’t it?
I’ve found out that its better to quote part numbers if you know what you want.

But doesn’t a traditional “bolt” push the projectile into the chamber?
I think one is about as appropriate as the other… 😉
