Bore cleaning
I have been reading about how to clean your barrel here on the forum.
I have not seen where anyone has used a bore snake. Is there any reason this should be avoided?

I bought a Tony worked, Hand lapped 24″ .25 caliber barrel from TT. i shoot ONLY lubed pellets from it, and it does NOT foul. even pushing past 1000 fps i don’t see any lead smearing or fouling. every few weeks of shooting i’ll remove the shroud and clean the barrel out with brake kleen. (see below). you can also buy bore scrubber or gun scrubber, will do the same thing but brake clean is free to me from work (auto mechanic) and seems to work the best for me. WARNING!! brake clean and other solvents WILL remove paint and melt some plastics… be warned. if you have a shroud, definatly remove plastic parts from the muzzle end.
works for me but i think the lube keeps it clean.
Snakes I’ve seen have wire brush on them… No in my guns…!

I use the Patch Worm, per Sir Ville. Works very well. Pull 1st plug through with a wet patch and follow up with your clean one’s.
