knifemaker x2 or more,
Flitz and FP10. I did mine last fall and it keeps on going.

Also, don’t use a cheep rod. Use either a home made weed eater come along type or a Tipton cleaning rod so as not to damage the rifling. I don’t think a bronze brush is recommended either.

Which of the many Flitz products do you use?

Carl

Goof off, or goo be gone. You can find goof off at Lowe’s.

Flitz is now days a staple with the bench rest crowd, as well as air gun competitors. I’ve been writing about it for years. (way before it was main stream) It is Much finer than grinding compound. NO NO Popper!!!

It is finer much finer than JB bore paste too. good stuff!!!

If you do use the Flitz, clean the bore with the goof off and lightly oil the bore with a good gun oil. FP-10 by shooters choice if you can find it. (Pyramid now carries it after a little arm twisting that I applied.) 😆 😈

Mike

Turtle Wax Chrome polish!!!

You can get Flitz from MidwayUSA and thats about all you need.

Knifemaker/Mike will probably be glad to give you his method of polishing a bore to perfection with this stuff.

I lost his writeup or I would have posted it for ya. All I can say is, it works very well.

try out some of this

what is that stuff good for in the airgun world

Are you sure?

Have your tried using Goo Gone on some patches?

You can ruin a barrel easily with bore polishing compound. But here it is if you want.
