Bottle and valve???
OK, I’ve got the .25 talondor in a MadDog stock now, Full length with but stock. Works great!!!
Now, I would like to regulate the gun. BUT, most of what I see has a large diameter tank. Wont’ work with the MD stock.
Any way to use a smaller (ie. shorter, tank to take up for the additional length of the reg? It will have to be a straight connection to clear the rear of th stock.
I was thinking a 280 Catalina paint ball tank with paint ball threads, and a talon P valve.
What do you guys think???Mike

Yes, the Jsb’s do indeed shoot better in the .22 Just out of them. I was shooting the .22 out of boredum. I was out of the .25’s for a while.
Nope, I wish the bottle was supported by the stock. But it doesn’t touch. I’ve been looking at way to possibly do that very thing! 😉

any way i saw this Yaharr method on the yellow along time ago, and shortened his method, to just rolling the pellets.

you know i wonder if that stock keeps forces off that tank, and the union of the tank and gun, maybe that is why it makes the gun more consistent, i know from my shenaniguns that any force or changes on the tank seem to really affect groups.
have you tried Jsbs for that 22, they will out shoot the Kodiaks hands down, and are you going to try and roll sort , in my experience it will help crosman HP the most of course, and jsb and kodiak will get a big boost for better consistant groups also.
like on your 22 groups, i have 22 , no experience for the 25 ,
my kodiaks will roll into two groups, these two sorted pellts batches will for the most part have two impact points, llike your # 2 group with the kodaks , there looks to have 4 into one group, and 2 into the other , after roll sorting most of this will be aliminated. it works for me, i dont shoot all rolled , but when i try for best groups i reach for a rolled batch of pellets,
Thanks MAW, but I can promise you, They are cherry picked. They sure don’t all come out that way. But since adding the MD stock, There are more good groups than bad by a large margin. Before it really was Hit or Miss!

I’m waiting for 80grit to tell me the results of adding one or two additional frame to stock anchor points. He may be on to something! 😉

Sure that’s your guard dog and not your hat, Woo Hoo that 25 can shoot some of the best groups I’ve seen yet, good job and write up.
So far, everything is working very well with teh MadDog Stock. It has become a very consistant gun, except for velocity varriations.
Just thinking a Reg. would be a good next step!
