Q:

Boyds Blaster stock

Here are some pics of my MRod in its stock from Discos R Us. The inletting was perfect and you can see on the right side the action sits high enough you can adjust the transfer port screw without taking it out of the stock. I just got it shooting well off a 2500 psi fill to save some air in my tank. Does good out to 100yrds and I’m shooting 4 magazines per fill

Im also happy to say I finally got this gun shooting how I want it today. When I got it it was my first pcp, coming from springers I was happy how good it shot. It was more accurate than any of my springers but I never got one hole groups. I always figured it was me, until I got my Talon SS that is. That Talon shot so good, I was hitting shots off hand that I couldnt make with my MRod rested. Kind of stopped shooting it for a while. Finally got a chrony, and this weekend spent a few hours adjusting it. It was shooting at about 1000-1100 fps stock and pretty wide fps spread. Got it to about 930 for 35 or so shots and the accuracy is now on par with my Talon. Really happy now, with the stock and the way its shooting. Just got to get some sling mounts on it to make it better to carry around hunting.

Looks good.
I let Norm use my Boyds FT stock as the guinea pig for the setting up his jig to inlet for the Discovery. I disliked my m-rod’s balance and weight so much, even with a Teryx stock setup, I went with a custom BNM Disco build to get what I like.
