Brand-new Air Wolf Leaking Air: help!
Hello all,
I wanted to show everyone how Stefano, of Daystate has instructed me to check for a leak on my brand-new Daystate Air Wolf (MCT). Hopefully they can help me fix this.
As always, I invite my fellow air gunners for tips, advice, or even console me during this tough time of having a sick Air Wolf.

Occam’s Razor: Take the fill valve off, wrap the threads in teflon tape, reinstall firmly.
99% of the time, from my experience, it has been related to either pressure gauges, or fill valves, with a slow leak past the threads.

Unless she’s a model, and has published/unpublished photography worth my viewing time. That’s commercial, not moral, in nature. Did any of you mutts notice the
oil filled air gauge on his fill tank? Did you? Huh? Huh???? THAT’S why he has beautiful women in his life! What woman could resist an oil filled gauge kind of guy?

Just have em send you a new valve
leaky check valve… common. Give it a quick burst of air a few times and see if you can knock out whatever is keeping it from closing. May want to do a higher fill… fill it to 200-220 and then give it a quick hard blast. If it’s some debris in the check valve, it will work out…. but I agree.. those type leaks are a pain in the ass.

I had the same problem with my MK4. I emptied the gun of all the air and removed the fill valve and removed the metal rod with the oring on it. the oring and rod were fine but the inside of the male fill nipple had a shallow gouge in it from the machining that caused the leak. When the factory was boring out the hole for the oring and shaft it was nice and smooth, but when they retracted the tool it left a shallow gouge that let air escape. I wraped the fill valve with tape (not the threads) and put it in a drill and took some wet/dry emery paper wraped around the smooth end of a drill bit and polished out the gouge. I started with 400 grit and ended with 2000 grit, it took me about an hour to finish bit I fixed it. HTH. My gun lost about 2 bar a day but with yours leaking that fast the gouge might be deep enough to have damaged the oring, so a new oring may be needed also.
