Q:

Broken edgun stocks

So I’m on the waiting list for a r3 long in .22, and was wondering if the stock is broken, if I could purchase another one from the edgun distributer or if I’ll just have to find some way or someone to fix it?

Have had him repair/refinish a few…
The totally exploded at the grip Walther LGV stock in his pix was one of mine that was destroyed by the UPS monkeys
He does tremendous work and at very reasonable rates
Here is a custom stock I had him finish out for a .25 Marauder
Yes WOK I own Marauders 😆 😆 😆

The damaged wood could be repaired see www/damagedwoodstocks.info

from the pictures this guy does good work. Found on the yellow.

Tony or Ed should hire that guy to repair the stocks if that would be a satisfactory remedy for the guys with damaged goods.

I am waiting on my 5th Matador and I will order more in the future. The 4 that I have already gotten were all undamaged and I am sure that the 5th one will arrive safely also.

I see that Tony and Ed are going to improve the packaging of the future Matador’s shipping boxes.

Tony stated to me-” If you recieve a broken stock – I’m sorry. It would be like you buying a new car with a broken windshield you can still drive it. Its your baby now. File a claim ASAP. If you want to BUY a new replacement stock it will take no less than 5 months and cost $200+.”””

I sure do hope you don’t get one!

Is this for real, did he really tell you that ?

sounds like lottery then..

Sorry is the hardest word according to Elton John.

Didnt mean to piss anybody off I was just wondering if ups did fuck it up if it would be better just to fix the stock or get a new one, i wasn’t going after tony, or ed. Tony’s been great, Ive already asked him questions via email. It was just an honest question. And yes i know there is a chance that it can be broken but i am still going to order it because its a fucking edgun, and that’s why i’m still on the list and because an edgun is what i want.

Im not trolling Tony, ED, or Edgun in general. And yes I am still willing to pay the $2000 even with said chance to just have one of these prized rifles in my posession. Sorry

I know Ted got a new stock for his early 2.5 that came w/a rough
wood finish stock that I think were made in the US. Took a while
but he eventually got the grey stock. Two stocks w/moderate damage
does not seem like a huge problem and should be resolved.
Hope things work out.

I think I’m number 3 to call BS on this post. Who the hell stays on a list to buy a gun they expect to come broken and wants to plan on buying more stuff from the guy that delivered broke stuff or pay someone to fix a brand new gun?

Brandon, if you failed to clearly communicate, you better fix that shit right now or or we’re going to chew through you like shit through a goose.

There are legitimate beefs with how edguns are shipped and supporting the failures caused by that but we’re not real amenable to horseshit piling on by idiots and trolls around here.

I second that notion!

I’m sorry I didn’t mean to imply that you purposely send damaged goods I was just getting some info that’s all I’m hoping for the absolut best but planning for the worst, because I have had 3 damaged goods from ups and 2 that have been stolen. I’m just covering all the basis I have had to get a second job so that I can purchase one of these fantastic rifles that’s all

I think I have to repeat myself:

IT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL THAT PEOPLE RECEIVE EDGUNS UNDAMAGED!
We’ve sent hundreds of Edguns and THEY ALL arrived in perfect order. And it was very unfortunate that a few were damaged by UPS during shipment.
