Found a video that has a couple quick shots of he beam illuminating the hosts hand and then later on the roof.

Can you take a picture of the beam at night… Doesnt have to be through scope, just picture of something illuminated by this at night.
I have one and it does work pretty darn good. It is, however, very susceptible to cold weather but that is easily fixed by using the chemical hand warmers and wrapping them around the unit and securing with a rubber band.
The OEM battery it came with was crap and at first I thought I had a defective unit. But soon as I replaced the battery the thing came alive.
That you can focus the beam is also a really nice feature. Fully diverged you can see a large area. And converging the beam gives very good light for some night shooting.
It is spendy but I opted for this right now rather than a gen 4 Night Vision Scope. But then my wife’s birthday is coming up in April and I might just surprise her, TOTALLY. LoL

Goes tits when it gets cold… I want one but need one that works after laying down that amount of cash, or they could drop the price down to $100.

Isn’t making a smoking section in a restaurant the same as making a peeing section in a swimming pool? I don’t think so, but it does make good sense? Try not to be a patron of either….?

Looks better than I expected – would like to see it at night and at distance but that looks nice and even.
All BSA have to do is release a picture of what this really looks like through a scope and they would sell pretty well I’d guess – heck I’d buy one just because – as of yet they havent and I havent seen one posted by anyone else…..
Surface area illuminated by an average laser is lets say 1 cm^2…. to illuminate say 1 square meter (10,000 cm^2) would be spreading that beam awfully thin for a regular laser.
I’m glad they got the problem with working below 32F fixed… (below freezing is “extreme” now?….)
Sounds like a Yellow Ninja project to me……… 😕

I’ve yet to see a review posted anywhere. I’m sure it’s cool, but it’s spendy as hell.
It’s got me wondering if it’s possible to modify a standard $80 green laser to do the same thing by replacing the standard glass “pinhole” window with a “full size” window with some type of a diffuser applied to it.

They do have a blue beam version available now… Wonder if they updated the electronics?
