BSA R10 or FX Verminator ??
Hi guys !
My mate wants to buy an air rifle after seeing the fun i’ve been having with the storm !
We’ve narrowed it down to these 2 and are now stuck so i thought i’d get some expert advice, what do you guys think ??
Anyone got either of these ?
It’ll be mainly used for lamping rabbits and pigeon shooting only occasional barn work for rats and ferals !
Thoughts please guys !!

Going to be hard to get much input on the R10 from anyone on this side of the pond as we havent seen it over here.
Reason we havent seen it is apparently the R10 has had some issues. Dont know if those are squared away or not just of yet. The BSA forum used to be littered with negative posts about the R10 but not so much now.
Sure is a sexy gun though. I’d love to have the FAC version.
On to the Verminator. Reports of it leaking, just as the Gladiator has some reports of it…. I have a G8R and had the leaking issue, but an O Ring change was all it took to square it away. If the Verminator is anything like the Gladiator (rhetorical) then it should be worth a look. My G8R is accurate and powerful.
As I understand it, the Verminator is the same save for the three step adjustable power.
I know that wasnt a lot of help, but it’s all I can offer up… perhaps someone else has more info.
Do me a favor please…. if you do happen to go with the R10, please post results as I’d be most interested. Thanks
