Chrono with a fresh battery set up in my longest hallway 42feet—–Turned the adjuster screw in -adding near max pre-load- air tube filled to 3100 psi- dogs are safe out in the yard—- ten JSB 18.1s in the magazine ..

18.1 JSB at 1024 =42 ftlbs—–yes ideed the M.O for the shroud is out tomorrow…—–scope set to 50ft—held over exactly two dots –target at 42ft—– 😯 —-I will for sure be turning this beast back down—-sure the velocity rolled off pretty fast from the 3100 psi in the tube– going to get a full fill on the tank tomorrow 3400 and will shoot 20 with the adjuster backed out…hoping for a shallow curve———There is a single pellet laying in the hole that 5 jsbs made at 42 feet–after the scope was mounted on the gun there were no click adjustments made where the first shot landed is where the group went…the firing behavior is real neutral -feels good….I like this gun…————————–and yes right now — its politely —LOUD LIKE —REAL F_CKING LOUD… 😆 😀

The long LDC and De-pinger are here…. —the beast is now tame…Mounted everything up -removed cylinder and inserted depinger—filled to 3400psi —ccocked gun (no pellet) –pulled trigger –sounds just like an old low powered multipump 760… crisp pop!—wanna check the alignment before I send a pellet tru it…..—Rich in Mich hooked it-up! Was expecting a flat black LDC but he sent a COOL looking carbon fiber-look accented LDC. fit is to the T…..May be slightly more quiet than my DONGed 18″ .20cal SS…….Very satisfied customer….Will post some more updates as I go…..Gotta go look at a car real quick and earn skriller for AIRGUN habbit……

HEY! JD…Guess what I found?…..
I got a pm from SteveinLa telling me about 2 rifles at SW that were not
working or missing parts….So I started the hunt….I talked to the gun
desk manager and he said he would look into them to see what he could
do…Long story short…It will be shipped tomorrow for $300.00 to the
door. The only thing wrong with it is that it is missing the clip….I am back
in the HV business…Now, hopefully it will shoot as well as the other one
did….
FYI…They were sending the other one back to the factory for
repair…
Wowzers JD….I am really glad it all worked out…Aren’t you glad you
didn’t buy a Marauder? What a nightmare those things seem to be….
Congrats man, now find some place to stretch that thing out and see
what it can do….The bad part now is that you can’t blame the gun if the
groups suck….Tough pill to swallow…lol 😆 There is still the wind
though…
Just too loud for the house – packed it all up and headed over to Nicks Gun and Tackle (formerly Eds Gun and Tackle)–and indoor range –Scuba shop was nice enough to give me a High fill-3900 psi to be exact…— Didnt bring the chrony with me to the range — just wanted to see what it would do at the range–25 yards off a bench in my site vise……. Very – Very Accurate….

[/img]——the top and very bottom bulls are 5 shots each — the middle bull is 20 shots….—I should have the shroud by some time next week— will post lots more goups then —Very easy to shoot well– Very accurate – very well built – power house.
Man that looks great..Those 18.1gr’s are flyin….Especially with that fill
psi…..I had the screw backed out enough so that the cap would just
barely go back on….I think you will find a very nice bell curve when you
get the fill to 3,400psi…That shroud will make it plenty quiet enough to
shoot in the house too….With the clip holding 10 shots it is not worth the
power reduction to try to get more than 20 full power shots…It will be
shooting too weak trying to get 30..I think 20 is a perfect # for that gun
and that is were mine shot the tightest groups…..
Those chrono numbers are about the same as I get with my Sportsman HV. I still have not chronographed a string but I get 995 fps with the 18.1 JSB’s from a 3000 psi fill.

Ya she is using alittle to much air, but it is a low fill and I’d take it down after the 1st shot on a full fill, just to get a max powershot.
I’m with ‘crackin…what were the chrony numbers? Do you like it? How loud was it? Where do you get a LDC for it? I’m just full of questions… 😉 I was seriously considering on until I heard that ther are loud and of course my killer deal on a AA S410 came along.
Yes, it appears that many of us are getting some nice new toys lately. Too cool. 😀

Great. Glad u got it all together…..Got sent the wrong LDC 3 times and
finally just opted for a refund….AArrgghh….Not sure what happened 3
times…

I backed the hammer spring screw out right to the edge of the breech….
