Q:

Buffalo Bill

I have a Condor and even though I live in upstate NYwith no really close houses its still too loud to use on my property if my neighbors are around. I did a quick search of the forum and found a couple of briefl mentions of Buffalo Bill frame extenders and checked his website. I was wondering with them being so cheap compared to the other ones I’ve been able to find if they have any major drawbacks. I don’t need really quiet, just the edge taking off. Will a Buffalo bill do the job?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ones I know about are Airhog, Talontunes and the Buffalo Bill. The Talontunes and the Airhog are out of reach right now.

Thanks.

Thanks for the help.

It’s simple. If being as quiet as possible is important to you, get a Talon Tunes shroud. If being ~20% louder than “tink” is ok, pick a frame extender/make your own, and put $5 worth of stuff in it.

Just received my Talon.

I am so confused. Who or where do I find a shroud? I am leaning towards a Talon Tunes but have not made up my mind.

Thanks everyone this forum rocks!

I have either owned or shot all three.

The Bill’s sounds just right for your purpose. They are effective (had one), just not AS effective as an AH or TT. I own a TT :D, to my ears the better of the two, and have shot a couple AH shrouds and both are a big step from Bills, but sounds like that is unnecessary for what you want. You can also add baffles to the Bills, like most do inside the tss frame if you need a little bit quieter.

You’re not thinking of buffolo bill, you mean bullseye bill.

If all you are looking to do is take the edge off, that’ll work, and it’s cheaper. Also, you can look up a few upgrades on here and get it even quieter with stuff you can buy at lowes or home depot.
