bushings
Are both bushings suppose to be exact or is the upper bushing alittle smaller in diameter. I ask because I have 2 barrels and both have alittle play in the upper bushing.

Yaeh I got a new barrel and the bushing was just like the one I pulled out so I just naturaly thought perfect fit but then the more I thought about it the more I thought naw not right.
They should both be nice fit, with no slop. Does the bushing fit loosely through the entire frame, or just at one spot? If it fits loosely through the hole thing, then you have two undersized bushings. If it fits loosely only in one spot, you need a new frame.

I want to retract my statement from last night. I took the barrel out, and old barrel, measured the bushings all o.k. I checked the frame also everything checks out. I don’t know why but the 1st time I took the barrels in and out the one bushing felt like it had a few thousands movement more then the other. Oh, well another senior moment.
