Q:

Bushnell 4200 –

I’m considering buying this –

http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-elite-4200-6-24×40-matte-riflescopes-426242p.html

Any alternatievs with similar features and maybe not too much more expensive that might be considered “better” ?

This is the one I linked to on Optics Planet at SWFA –

$629.95

Its alright – its the thought that counts 😀

YN my bad: After comparing part numbers they are not the same scope,

426242P Side focus, 426242M front focus. 😳

Condor – I did notice that it was a demo model at that price.

You have a link to the SWFA one that has mil dot and side wheel for $80 less than Optics Planet, I couldnt find it.

YN did you notice that quoted price is for open box/dealer demo

new is + 80 dollars more 😯

SWFA has same scope new plus a free sunshade. for 80 dollars less, for new.

YN, They are GOOD Scopes! 😉 😀

I dont have one, but from what Ive been reading its an excellent scope for the money, very nice.

I havent read anything bad about them at all.I almost got in trouble at the gunshop , the guy shows me a Bushnell 4200 elite 6x24x40 for 500 30 mm tube.

swwwwwwing!!! I started getting that funny feeling like ya get when ya climb the rope in Gym class.

when I looked through it , a funny thing happened, it started talking to me, whispering sweet nothings in my ear , you know the speil, telling me how it wants to come home with me, that’ she’s not like the other scopes.
tempting me with her turrents just stareing out at me. and she had the nicest reticle

Im like listen , not tonight , its.. its..its…its, just not a good time, its not you , I think your beautifull and all but I really cant . she said she would wait till I was ready. Cant stop thinking about her.

I had to get out of there before I did something stupid.

this other one I was considering and still might get is the WOTAC, it has a MOA reticle as opposed to a mildot, and uses the same glass as Luepold Its about 325, and from what ive read on sniper central its better than the 3200 and about the same as a luepold or bushnell 4200

They say for the money, its as good as it gets. and can hold its own against the higher dollar scopes.

just one to consider if your budget is tight.

That is suppose to be the best bang for the buck YN…I have never read
anything bad about an Elite 4200…. Some say that the 6-24 will only
focus down below 12.5yds….The 8-32 is said to focus to 10yds….
Here is one comparison with a Hawke…. This guy shoots FT and has had
every gun and scope there is so I really take what he says seriously….

Here is another review….The guy named LD is a gun guru and shoots FT
also…. He built the Mac1 USFT for the most part….
