Q:

Bushnell Banner vs. Legend

I am due for a new scope on my SS, and I have decided to go with a Bushnell. I have heard good things about the Banner line of scopes, as well as the Legend, both of which I am looking into – the Banner in a 4-12x, and the Legend in 5-15x. The local shops all seem to have Banners, but I am having a hard time finding the Legend locally. On this forum, I hear good things about Banners, but I hear GREAT things about the Legend. Can anyone tell me what the fundamental differences are, and convince me that the extra $50 plus shipping is worth it?
Thanks,
Chris

The Legend is the better of the two you listed. If you want more range the Banner 6-24×40 will give you that and it will cost less.

Better optics, clearer images, solid construction are all +s of the Legend.

Toss in FREE shipping at opticsplanet.com, its hard to say no.

The mil-dot reticle is easy to aim with. The dots are 1moa, quite easy to see your targets with.
