Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24×50
Just received my new Bushy 4200 6-24×50 (42-6245T) yesterday and played around with it a little last night as it was getting dark. Have to say that even in very dim light I was able to see the mil dots without illumination. This scope is great and the only downside is a 25 yard min focus range. Could still see closer but the test will be when I shoot closer than 25 yards.

The green laser is just so you can see it in daylight. Go to Opitcs planet & look at the aimshot 5mw, great price. I use my 12mw along with my scope at distance and just it at close range.
That’s what I’m thinking about getting but debating the cost of a good green laser just for close up. Anything that close wouldn’t need anything powerful as for range. I haven’t mounted the scope to any of my other guns and waiting for my Condor to arrive from Tony. I want to pop that cherry the right way 😀
May want to get a geen beam laser for close range. I have the bushnel elite 4200 3x9x40 and can not emagine needing anything better for the money for shooting in the distances I shoot; 10 to 50 yds.
I almost got that scope myself until I saw the 25 yrd focus limit… was reluctant to shell out those kinda bucks on a scope that may not do well in my 20 yrd backyard. Would be interested in how it does in less than 25.

i got the 4200 6-24×40….and teh difference between a peice of crap leapers and a scope like this is well 3 times the price…but also, dusk and dawn hunting is just soo much better with the 4200…
i lined my former tasco varmin 2.5-10×42 up with a legend 5-15×40 and 4200
it was getting dark and a cat came through yard as i was testing the difference
tasco i was able to see the outline of the cat, it was more like a moving shadow
legend i was able to see the cat, its eyes, and some of the different colors in the fur
4200 i could same as legen only a bit more clear, it was actually able to see just ever so slightly better then with the naked eye, possibly because of the zoom.
when i repeated the same test with my former 2. gen NV set up behind scope….the 4200 was miles ahead of the rest…just so much more light comming through
what i dont like is the copper colored reticle, if light gets in through the eye piece this will turn a copper color, and in a hunting situation with lots of trees and bushes in the same brown reddish color the reitcle could get lost…..4200 has thinner crosshairs than the legend, which is nice for target shooting….where the legend is more of a hunting scope, where the thicker crosshairs allows you to get on target more easy. but at ranges of 50+ yards trying to hit paintballs its too thick
