C02 ADAPTER= TOPHAT FALLS OUT ?
yep i am a new poster , but lurking around here for well over a year, member of a couple other forums, i have 3 TALON SS ‘s 2 w/18” barrels & 1 12”, anyways i purchased a new in the box co2 adapter for 1 of the 18” for co2 as i didn’t get a tank with it, if i’m not paying attention & the gun is cocked , ready for loading the pellet,w/ barrel pointing at the ground the dang top hat falls out, should it do that ? thanks, ramjet

Today; I was taking my co2 adapter apart, and remembered this post. No way is the co2 tophat going to fall out, unless: if the very tiny allen head screws are loose, the actual part called the “tophat” Could fall out; but, if you were referring to the valve shaft with the tophat attached=it Could “fall out” if the o-ring was missing, that fits tight around the valve shaft.
As a matter of fact; my co2 tophat [valve with tophat attached] was harder to remove, and had to be moved more than my standard air Talon SS valve, before I could just pull it on out. [using the 2 flathead screwdriver system]
I Am a little late to be replying to this post; but, I just received my new co2 adapter yesterday.
