Q:

Calculate BC – what distance?

Hey all, I was thinking I better calculate my own BC and was going to do the speed at different distances rather than to measure the bullet drop. But what distance is best? 25m or 50m? (Or any distance in between )
Don’t feel comfortable at longer distances since is is an Air chrony so the hole measuring the speed is very small aka a miss is easy and could destroy my chrony.

i use strelok do it for me ….

simply there is an option giving you at what speed your pellet flying and the BC

its just simple strelok pro says ( Distance should be greater than zero distance, the farther the better )

so as for me i have made my BC last few days from it and it seems pretty nice 🙂

i was shooting paper at 92yards … my zero was 40yard

i was grouping at ( 3.7 mildots ) so i have put it into the strelok and gave me the correct speed which is 892fps and BC 0.033 in 18gr

hope this useful to you 🙂

Have you confirmed that fps with chrono? Just curious

well from what i remember my avg fps was 900fps so i think 892fps pretty close 🙂

i remember i have made same test to my edgun … my matador avg spd 915fps from chrony when i did test it with strelok pro i was surprised because it gave me same results 915fps !
