Q:

Camo’ed up the Royale 500 carbine

I have sold the FX 400 I had and decided that I would further personalize the 500 carbine with a second and third color of the Rust-oleum textured outdoor furniture paint..

I’m diggin it.

Great job RC!

Very nice Charlie! Not doing the action is smart as it keeps options open and your resale market broader. Besides, rifles that are black and tan, black and OD, black and camo…, always look mean 😡

“Destroyer” would be appropriate when speaking of an FX rifle, but for a different reason, particularly when speaking of RC’s FX . . . just ask the crows . . .

cool design, looks like a WWII destroyer.

The reason I did not paint the action and the barrel is that some day I may wish to dress it up with a Steve Cochran walnut stock.

I may get some camo wrap for the barrel and wrap it, but then again maybe not.

That looks great!! This is the way I’d do mine if I were to do it. Then just wrap the barrel with some camo gauze.

Looks good, Charlie. Hope you don’t set it down in the brush & lose it. Believe it or not, I had to help a guy locate his camo ATV a few years ago . . . his lousy sense of direction & heavy cover played a significant role.

ooh.. pretties.. but why only the stock?
