Can a Cricket Carbine barrel be threaded???

Can anyone tell me if a .22 cal Cricket CARBINE barrel can be modded with 1/2″ UNF threads to attach an LDC?

Sounds like a good idea. Back order’s not a problem – I’ll just have to make sure the adapter fits the carbine, also.
