Q:

Can a Talon valve be modded for more power?

Not as much as a Condor but around 45 ft lbs with a light to medium .25 pellet.

Yep, with a 24in Polygonal .25 and a standard valve, hammer etc, I can get around ~790ft/s with 37gr. Euin Jins. That is around 51.3fpe 😯

Really almost 50 ft lbs. 😯 I was going to get an 18-20 inch .25 barrel so I could still use my shroud but if I can get in the mid 40s with just a standard tank..hmmm Will anything else need to be changed to reach that kind of ft lbs?
