can AF condor get same accuracy as Edgun?
I’m wondering if AF condor or talon with 24″ barrel can get same accuracy as Edgun. they both have LW barrel.

Given that both guns can easily out shoot 98% of all air gun marksmen, further complicate that with climatic variables, such as, light, temperature, wind, noise, and other distractions, it then becomes academic as to which gun is more accurate.
On any given day it would be impossible to predict which rifle would win a competition.
Since none of us shoot our rifles in a lock down vise, with a remote electronic trigger release, in a controlled shooting environment, can anyone say one is more accurate than another?
We are blessed with a variety of first rate air rifles that are each capable of out shooting the others on any given day.
We have favorites, but even an Edgun Matador would have trouble out shooting it’s big brother the long, heavy, Morena!
The most accurate air rifle is the one you personally shoot best!

Last year, a guy on the Yellow wanted people to print out this target, shoot 4, 5 shot 50 yard groups and post the results. You could take as many sighting shots as you wanted on any other target. His rules were that you could only print one target and once you started shooting, you had to shoot all 4 groups back to back.
When I got to the range, it was starting to get dark and there was a slight breeze that would stop and start again. Not the best of shooting conditions.
Here is what I came up with. Either I, the Edgun or both was having an off day. The gun usually does better. The bottom right one was .395″, kinda hard to read my sloppy writing.
At short ish range my condor is on par with anything it has come up against. The condor has a nice little thing in that is very easy to mod. Well save a few very high end target rifles. I would not be shocked if a big bore condor could not be made out shoot the edgun at long shots.
The edgun is accurate but its accurate for a hunting rifle. Its not a specialist 10m target rifle or ultra long rage comp rifle. So many rifle can be made to out shoot a stock edgun in some aspects.
Kazzz(who is winner 100 m with edgun ) shoots his new edgun in 1″ group daily.
if someone can figure out a better system on AF condor valve to use less power to open valve in a reg. before tank. it may make the gun more stable, less impact on valve.
The one area that I don’t know how we can address, is the hammer-breach-to top hat system.
It requires a heavy hammer that upsets the gun just before firing. This added to the hammer pulse having to travel through the breach before being able to open the valve, makes for a very poor lock time I would think. , Not to mention the reversing reverberating shock from the impact of the breach to the top hat and frame.
So no. This system was never designed for ultimate precision.
But for what it is, it can be pretty damed accurate, with the added bonus of being easily changed to low-high power, take-down, and different calibers quickly and with ease. 😉

Guys with Edguns could show us there groups for a comparison, I could do some 50 yrd shots, can a Edgun shoot Eun Jins if they wanted to?
Ill put my condor against any Edgun in .25 caliber any day of the week, and at least tie in accuracy on average.
I wont say its as consistent because mine is not regulated, but its on average a tie in accuracy based on targets folks post online.
Once you work out all the issues most people (still) seem to have, it is a very good and accurate rifle.
I can fairly consistently beat .5″ at 50 yards. Thats the distance my target board is nailed to a tree from my shooting room. The worst group Ive shot at that distance this year is around .75″, so thats not bad in my book.
Yes there are bad days. Even the Edgun guys will have them, so don’t believe every single story you hear.
I still think that’s possible to get the same accuracy. they have same barrel, use same pellet, get same velocity with same scope, and both on solid rest. and use reg on condor as well.
really like to see someone can do great accuracy here. 0.5″ 50 yard and 1″ group 100 yds.

Well, I think you would need to start by adding a good regulator, then a custom frame or some other fix for the frame flex, and then a better trigger. After that, you might need to get a custom hammer, replace the bushings on the barrel with ones that fit better and get one of the offset bottle holders to improve the hold. And spend some time tuning.
You might as well try it, what else are you going to do while you are waiting on the Edgun order list?
Too much flex in the frame during firing and just handling.

don’t second guess the air force, if you take the time to fine tune , it will shoot with or beat most any other rifle
Yes the frame is very light weight, it was not built for a bench rest gun. but it can shoot like one if you hold it right . tune the gun to the pellet, etc.
All i know is if you hold the gun the same every time it will shoot to one hole or close ,10 yards to 100 yards, i can get this without a regulator with fine tuning , for a very short shot string
put a regulator on it , and it will shoot with the ed gun all day, without all the fine tuning fuss and short shot strings , i will have a reg one of these days just to see, but the air force condor does all i need with out one for now .
Almost all of the problems that people have with the air force are related to doing things that are, and were not intended for it to do, because it will shoot 1/4″ and 3/8″ groups at 50 yards and the impact movies around due to its light weight frame or huge air supply changing during the shot stings resulting in 3/4″ or 1″ groups is still a very good shooting gun, remember it was advertised for 1″ at these ranges, it is capable of much better with help,
we seem to forget this.
