can someone please explain
Could someone please explain the difference between the condor ss and the condor tt? I’ve seen these terms on different posts, but don’t know what the difference is. I’m going to be getting one of these air force rifles in the near future, and it will be my first QUALITY air rifle of any sort. I’m leaning towards getting a condor in .22 and then adding the .25 barrel later, but what is the difference in the models mentioned above? Are there other models to be considered as well?

One thing I didn’t know was the talon has two different frames… I have an extra frame I have been planning to build something from it, now I got to measure that sucker out to see what I have… Thanks guys, you guys have probably safed my butt from making a big mistake, when I got through and something didn’t fit LOL…

Heck, I thought the Condor SS was like what I have guys, I have the Condor frame with the 12″ barrel and then a moderator stuffed in the frame to control the report of the rifle… So what do you call my rifle then???
That is a condor ss, the condor and the talon ss frames are a wee bit different, the condors have a longer scope rail and it has an extra cut out or brace in it.
The Condor, the Talon and the TalonSS have different frames… 😉
The Talon has the shortest snout with a short upper rail.
The TalonSS has a longer snout with a short upper rail.
The Condor has a long snout with a long upper rail. Look closely at the extra opening at the front of the scope rail…
SS stands for sound suppressed via a longer frame in front of the front barrel bushing… The SS versions use either a Condor frame or a TalonSS frame. A Talon can’t be converted to a SS unless you weld on more frae in front of the front barrel bushing… 😕

Condor SS is a Talon SS with Condor power(longer barrel, hi-flo valve, and heavy hammer). Condor TT is a Talon Tunes Condor from the link above.

rowdy, just take a look at the muzzle end of the frame, if you have about 6 inches from the end of the frame to the first bushing screws than it is an SS frame, if you only have about 1 3/4 to the screws than it is a talon frame, (I’m not 100% on the 1 3/4 inches, I don’t have my notes in front of me but it’s close enough)
