Can’t log in on FireFox
OK guy’s!
I’ve been trying to use FireFox for a browser. It seems much faster than embarq home page. Problem is, it won’t let me log in here. It gives me the log in page, and every thing looks just fine. I hit log in after everything is entered, and it simply goes back to the same page with everything entered. It isn’t as if anything is entered wrong. It doesn’t say so many tries left. Just back to the same page as if I never hit log in? 😕

I think I got it…
Tools > Options > Privacy
Make sure you Accept cookies & 3rd. party cookies & keep them until they expire.
If you have “Clear history when Firefox closes” checked click on settings and make sure cookies is unchecked.

Nope. Still not working for me. It’s a shame, because it is so much faster. It would really help when posting pict’s as photo bucket works a LOT faster on firefox.

I am using firefox right now without any problems
Did any of you ever figure out the problem with this? I logged on with this computer using Firefox last night without a problem. Today I pull up the page and I’m logged out and have the same return to main page after enetering name & password problem Knifemaker had. I’m resorting to IE to logon now…
Bummer! I’ve only been on Fire Fox for a couple of days.
I have never had an issue logging in here on the TAG from maybe 6-7 computers using Firefox.
Not sure what the issue could be.
Ya might wanna do a bit of research, google safari for windows.
evidently, could be a security issue.

Being a mac boy I use safari 4, pretty freckin fast. I think you can run it on a windows machine

I feel your pain Knife. Firefox worked great for me until just yesterday. I can’t log in either. I’m posting this from my phone. Guess I’ll have to try another browser as well on the PC. Weird

I guess I’ll keep using the uber slow embarq home page for the TAG.
Shame as the FireFox is a heck of a lot quicker. Oddly, all of the other sites that I visit, the pass word works just fine. In fact, on most sites, I was already logged in automatically.

Probably a security measure, built in, to keep ya from getting in to the nut house 😯

I have had that problem. Never fixed it though. I use cometbird, a version of firefox, and it worked. On another comp I installed plain firefox, and I couldn’t log on. No clue why. Try another web browser, google chrome or something.
try;
1. the password block for tag IS case sensitive
2. goto: tools\options\security\passwords. make sure “remember passwords for sites” and “use master password” are not selected.
Not sure if these will help but worth a try
