can the CO2 adapter take 200 bar through it?
I found that paintball guns can use a compressed air tank that is 3000 pounds pressure, but it has the CO2 fitting on the tank. it also has a manometer and fill port with foster fitting. it is a 470 cc tank which is damnwd close to the stock air tank. and with the 200 bar on the back sixe of the adapter what will it do the to the valve? The adapter has a much largwr orifice then the air tank, so, what will that do to to the pellet? With a much larger charge coming at the projectile?

That is great if you found a 27/28 Cu In tank, but I wonder what brand it is. I have a bunch of similar tanks, but they are only rated 1800 PSI for CO2. Make sure you are not assuming the tank is 3000 PSI when it is really just 1800 PSI Working pressure.
FYI, I sell LOTS of tanks, and I haven’t seen one in 3000 PSI, only 1800. If that tank measures 2″ diameter x 13″, I think I know what tank you have and it is not 3000 PSI. PLEASE understsand my only intent is I am just trying to keep you from blowing yourself up, so please, be careful. In fact, if they ARE 3000 PSI, I’ll buy some from you!

Where are you finding unregulated paintball tanks in the 28 CI size?
I use a 13 CI/3000 paintball tank with a 1400 PSI regulator with the CO2 adapter. It works pretty good.
The valve supplied with the CO2 adapter (I believe) is a Condor valve.

On the adapter, I don’t know. I haven’t seen one, or know the quality of it’s construction.
On the heavier pellet. Yep. I hear that JSB is supposed to be comming out with a heavier .25 soon. Looking forward to trying it out, if it ever gets here!
I’v been looking into somthing similar, but different.
I’ve been wanting to go with an e-tac and reg, but don’t know what tank to use to keep the length of pull near the same as stock. It would be far too long with the stock set-up.

so here goes……okay, now where the hell are my notes? First, thank you , joe. i will heed your word and double check, but am sure they were 3000psi tanks. i do appreciate the concern. ill give him a heads up to order a few extra then. ill get the information and get with to you with the contact info. The tank was definitely larger the two inches by my recollection, though. closer to the stock talon tank(490cc) in diameter but more radiused on the bottom and a little shorter in height.
next, comet, I’m not sure I’m picking up what youre throwing down here. are you saying the CO2 adaptor is the same a the valve in the condor tank? Does the adaptor also regulate? Didnt i see a post someplace where you were trying to open yours to tune it? What did you find? If you please.
now that i think about it the adapter might be necessitated by the size of the tank. it may be too fat to fit between the fins of the talon. It may be too short between the tanks shoulder and neck.
As for the pellet weight poll, i really think that a larger pellet would do well in all of my pcp guns. i really like the EJs but I’m having trouble finding a reliable source. PA cant keep them on the shelf. ive been looking into casting and swagging, both. i am inclined to go with the corbin dies but not sure about fitting them to a bench arbor, as i dont have a rockchucker. the casting seems pretty slow process by comparison. potentially messy, as well.
ive seen the weebly swage and it also seems labor intensive.
