Can you get a Vulcan .25 to 60 FPE ?
That is with just home adjustments of the Regulator and HammerSpring, no sending to a tuner for extensive work, just simple home brewing 😀 😀 😀

I understand. If you wanted to guarantee a bullpup that will sling that MKII get a 357 Cricket and rebarrel the gun with a TJ. That will give you the ability to shoot 60 plus FPE. If your serious about a project like that I can put you in contact with a guy who is building a new regulator reservoir for the 357 Cricket so it can shoot lighter .30s and heavy .25s
But you can get a Cricket to 60 FPE right ?
the new Vulcan Tactic is an interesting design and the Cricket Rifle is a beauty, …..BullPups, I’m not interested in and Smooth twist barrels with the fact that they only shoot JSB are a bit to limited IMO.
No I don’t think so. Here’s why. I attempted to turn my .25 regulator up to the required setting to push a JSB MKII at 900 fps and I found that the regulator was already set at 150 BAR. Going any higher would not in my opinion achieve any more speed. The reason I believe the gun is maxed out at around 50 FPE is the regulator reservoir size. Pressure is only part of the speed equation. Volume is the second part. Without the volume of air required to push 60 FPE it can’t be done. Really what you need is a downsized 30 caliber. That’s what makes the Impact appealing to me. It is set so the valve depth, regulator reservoir and HST will push a 44.73 pellet 880. This will translate into a 60-65 foot pound .25 with the JSB MKII.

No thanks, that’s quite a project and BullPups aren’t my cup of tea.
Looks like a Cricket carbine .25 would shoot the 34gr JSB and the 31gr Baracuda in the 60 FPE range by just adjusting the gun from what I read on the Forums.
