The correct way to focus your crosshairs on your scope is:

Turn the eyepeice counter-clockwise until it stops, you have just adjusted it all the way out.

Now look thru the scope. If the crosshairs are still fuzzy, turn the eyepiece back in 1/2 turn. Look thru the scope again. Once they are starting to come into focus, turn 1/4 turn or less.

Keep doing this until the crosshairs are solid and in focus.

Once in focus, never adjust the eyepiece again.

Check and adjust the ocular part of your scope right at the eye peice. The crosshairs should get darker.

Does your scope have Parallax adjustment? Make sure its set for correct distance.

What scope?
