Not shipped as of yet…..

quote guykuo:

Last word was they would ship one out around July 15, but it has been a couple weeks since any further contact.

How’s the compressor working out?

What will be the price of your PMV?

quote guykuo:

Perhaps adjustable PMV?

On my Bauer Jr, I have the PMV set to 3,000 PSI before it opens. Makes sense since the lowest pressure for a full refill of my Vulcan rifle is 3600 PSI and I wish to prolong my triplex filter lifespan.

It’s a trade off. Higher settings means more efficient mechanical water separation and slower drying media usage, but higher mechanical stress on the compressor.

Lower setting is less efficient water separation and earlier drying media saturation, but lower mechanical stress on the compressor.

The adjustable ones are almost double the price of the set pressure ones.

I don’t feel the pmv is an issue. There is only realy one manufacture in the usa that makes one (at a reasonable price point)

So if it’s set at 1600 I guess it’s better than not having one.

If it doesn’t come with one.. they can be had for around the 50$ mark…..

Debug to 2500PSI

I want to increase the pressure to keep the valve,
Would like to ask about the pressure maintained at 1600PSI.

1600 psi is a little low…. the pressure should actually be up around 1800 psi minimum ….

Thanks for the update, Sincere. I’m ready when the machine is ready.

The PMV would be nice especially for when filling from empty. That would bring the water separator up to good efficiency before any air enters tanks or guns. Topping off, it’s not so important because the starting pressure is already high, but initial filling from empty is when it reduces moisture content.

Hopefully, this will be something real in terms of usable product. There is a sizable pricing band into which this could conceivably fit.

$1550 (Shoebox $1150 + 1st stage compressor $100 high pressure dryer $300)

Here one could fit at $1100 + $300 drier

Grade E air for all from here on ——

$3000 (Nardi, Maxair, Airetex)

$3500 Sheldon

$4000 (Bauer Jr)

It just has to be faster than a shoebox, produce clean air and be robust enough for long life. One would add a drier to bring down the 100%RH output to 40% or lower for actual use.

Sorry: guykuo: the time may be longer
Our motor supplier has some problems
Motor July 12 before arrival. Now the normal 24 hours non-stop testing.
in my opinion
Motor is a very mature product, should not become a problem
But: I guess wrong
I try to be issued July 20.
Tomorrow I shoot a test video
Send everyone to see

Wow that Komptec compressor looks pretty nice for the price.

They have been doing compressor from around 1992, on their own name, so quess they are doing something right.

Wasn’t aware of it. Interesting 3 stage unit with molecular sieve desiccant & activated carbon filter. Replaceable steel liner in 3rd stage cylinder. Good airflow rate too apparently. (Funny though, the Mrodair also has a steel final stage liner held in place with a circlip)

Would seem a contender. Sounds almost too good to be true, but it is German company. A detailed review would be reassuring.

You didn’t include on your list the German komptec compressor, around 1800€
