carry handle modification

have any of you out there “bobbed-off” the back of the carry handle? the pointed end?

I’m thinking of cutting it off and was wondering if there were any reason(s) not to cut it off?

i don’t see how it would weaken the frame or interfere with operation, function or installation and removal of the bottle for re-charging.

I agree, it does not have a function or would it weaken anything other than resale value.

I have a short ETAC on my Condor and it makes it difficult to take the tank off, I have considered cutting that part off if I knew for sure it would allow me to remove the tank.

I don’t recall who…but a member here has cut off the entire thing…perhaps someone or he may chime in…
