Q:

Cascade Condor/Talon fill rig

I have 2 80 cf scuba tanks using to cascade fill my Hiflo tank. Saves trips to the Scuba shop, but must unhook and rehook HIFlo tank to each scuba tank to fill.

Brings me to this ThoughT: Remove the gauge from my AirForce fill adapter and replace it with a 1/8 inch nipple. Buy a Airguns of Arizona/Straight Shooters fill adapter hose and gauge unit/K scuba charging adapter ($125). Attach the hose to the nipple on the AirForce fill adaper.

Now I can cascade fill without moving from scuba tank to scuba tank?

Any reasons (safty) to do not do this……………….? 😯

This setup connects the 2 scuba tanks togather with the HiFlo tank all at the same time. Open tank one (which is below full fill pressure) close tank one. Open tank 2 and top of HiFlo tank. Close tank 2. Purge and remove HiFlo tank. Done and ready!

You are correct . But i don’t wont to move the HIFlo tank from one scuba tank to the other? I can do that with just one fill clamp………………..? At no cost at all. I also have had problems with the AirForce gauge and not with the clamp.

I wont a higher quality fill adapter (may add quick connect to AirForce adapter). May also add hpa to my RWS 850

VS …. what’s the cost of a 2nd refill yoke from AF.

125$ to around 60$?

Or am I not reading your description right.

when cascading you bulf fill from the 1st tank then top off from the 2nd.

the tanks are seperate, switching is a must.
