Case for Talon with 6″and LDC
Hi guys
I’m looking for a case for my Talon SS. I’ve installed an R&L moderator and a Maddog Short stock. Soft or hard case, I’m willing to use either.
What do other Talon owners use for transport?

I have the talonp with the 9″ moderator. I am thinking of getting the copper basin take down pack designed for the ruger 10/22. I think this pack has great versatility for carryin the talonp with the shroud removed as well as pellets and accessories.

I have a Talon SS with the TT 6″ shroud, so I pull the shroud, and tank, then everything fits in a nice heavy duty back pack. It’s billed as a go type, bug out bag, but the gun, fill adapter, pellets, bullets, range finder, binos, and the rifle is scoped with a Hawk 4-16X50 I think side focus with the wheel and it all fits, and I can carry it just fine, even with my not so great back. Oh almost forgot I keep a set of folding allen wrenches in there too so I can tighten the shroud when I put it back. Also never had an issue with POI change when removing and reinstalling the shroud. Other case I use when not taking it down for travel is a standard AR style/Tactical bag which obviously everything fits in just fine.
