Jerry has a good point and Jack’s silence is not helping his cause.
I also considered an “agenda” but from the dealings I have had with Cedric I don’t perceive him to be that kind of person. I think he is honest and just because he bought a second one does not prove a thing. Being skilled at working on these guns I am sure he figured that if something was not up to par, he would make it so. I think he bought the .457 because Jack’s were the only ones available. How many other big bore makers have big bores readily available for sale?
Someone made a good point by saying that opening new guns up and finding clean internals will prove nothing more than the fact that that particular gun is clean…this is why I chose not to open my new gun. I will eventually open it after I shoot the crap out of it first 😀 When I do I will post my findings to the airgun community for whatever its worth.

sold it to a bud that I was attempting to get into a Daystate Harrier I had, he knew all the issue and paid what I had into it in cash and it still took two or three trips back to Crosman before he had a rightous rifle.
I am NOT in anyways against the Marauder, I am though against the schmucks that claim that every Marauder out of the box is equal to an FX, Daystate, whatever
they all simply are not

Well! Tit for Tat,lol My Marauder experience was so good I bought all three and to this day nothing stacks em up like the marauders do. As I posted here the New Maraud Pistol shoots a three quarter inch group at 45 yards 4 shots and 3 are together and the 4’th was the one that measured the far est. I might have pulled off. was real excited with the small group. 😀 😀
I don’t knock any ones work, I also have the 22 and 177 discos. And I have 4 air force 2 are talon ss a 22 and a 177 and one is a 22 condor and 1 is a Tolondor. Can’t say one bad word about none of them.
I think most of you folks are into Hot Rodding, you need to leave that up to the professionals.
All my guns even the Springer’s and multi pumps all shoot good. Ive had some of them for 17 years. My oldest is a multi pump and I can leave it pumped up for a year and still fire it and it hits good.
So in all worlds you have to name makers and the wannabes. As I said you guys make em and I’ll shoot em 😀 😀 😀

Did you buy 3 scopes and mounts for all these big bores or did you go with quick release mounts and one scope?

It just baffles me that JH has not replied anywhere (that I see) to the commentary on his product. He’s clearly not unaware as Reba has sent emails on the topic…
He’s delivering guns (a fellow on the hunting forum just got a .58 and RJ is getting one) to customers but the guys on the yellow DBOI appear to have been ignored and there’s been no mention that any attempt to discuss the delivered guns (Rob, Ced) has been made.
Maybe the idea is to hire a guy that can cut metal and change parts to quality stuff and hope the older deliveries are forgotten? Or, pretend that the word isn’t out?
Considering that all of these custom guns get sold via the net, I don’t think one can pretend the forum talk doesn’t exist except when it’s complimentary to one’s product. I see JH logged into the hunting forum plenty and he’s made plenty of comments there when it suits….
I can see trying to handle things offline and get square with the customer discreetly but somewhere in that process, the rest of the potential customer base ought to be made aware that the right thing is getting done. It looks to me like the actual process is to ignore the complaints and hope the fanbois ride to the rescue!
If the new guns are better, great! But he didn’t give away the guns and tubes with issues, did he?

my .58 will be here tomorrow and yes im excited and when it gets here im gonna post pics of both of them and also targets i shoot to show the accuracy of them my 308 will be here probly inside of a month which there is no rush on that but if all goes as planned it will produce 300+fpe and im confident it will its gonna be my target gun
