Chairgun….Uugghh!!!
I downloaded Chairgun pro to check it out, You must need a degree from MIT to figure it out, I guess I will just measure out my targets and take some notes and see which Mil-Dots I need to use for different distances. It seems like you need a chrono to fill in all the blanks, It has more boxes then an IRS 1040 long Form

FWIW, I think the older versions were more intuitive. One of the keys is getting the correct scope height. I think you can get around a chrony by looking at drop, but only if you have the correct scope height plugged in.
I felt the same way when I first started with Chairgun..but it’s NOT complicated, once you just start at the beginning…
Click on a “color” to select correct caliber…then fill in every applicable blank ( I STILL don’t understand the “laser” box) anyhow you get all those filled in, then go up to “GRAPHS”, click it and WOW all kinds of stuff is available!!!! Then click some of the other topics in that top line…you just have to go through it all to see exactly what all is available…it will blow your mind!!
As of now, I have every gun I own saved in Chairgun…with EVERY weight/brand of pellet that I use in each gun! You can print atpes to go on you sight adjustment turrets and a thousand other really cool features.!! Like was said earlier, you just have to sit down in front of the screen , load information for just one gun..and then start clicking buttons.. I would NOT be without it now, after seeing what all it can do… ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗

It does seem complicated, but its not. It boggled my brain for a bit, but a couple hours, a few good beers and it all starts to make sense…. 😉

I love chairgun! You can use pellet drop but, a chrony will give you a better BC.
I use Chairgun to print out range tapes for 20 and 10 X and then tape them to the gun’s stock.
When I am out hunting, if a shot comes up that isn’t covered by my range tapes, I use the Chairgun app for my Iphone. That app is great! I really like the wind drift feature and use it all of the time while in the field.
I use Hawke scopes and Leapers high mounts. I use 2.60″ for my scope height and the Chairgun data seems spot on for my Edguns.
Harry you really need a chrony to get the most from Chairgun. A chrony is a very usefull tool for tuning any air rifle and I find it invaluable for my Edguns. It works great with the Hawke 1/2 mil dot 20X scope reticle. If my laser will give me an accurate range, shots out to 126 yards, the farthest shot I have offered yet, are spot on, if I do my part. Chairgun has really improved my shooting ability!
