Q:

Change barrel on a std .22 to .25

Hi!

Anyone done this? Do i need to replace any other parts than barrel and probe? Does all other internal hold up for .25.

Where do i buy a .25 barrel in Europe?

Linkan please when you have done please keep us informed how to did it 🙂

Thanks for the info Ernie!

Yes, forgot to mention about the TP on the FV. on the .177 TP has be be bored out to the same size as the long .25 TP. on the .22 it can get by shooting 43fpe ang higher the TP need to be enlarge. if you want higher FPE the TP need to be angle ported from VS body seat to TP exit and enlarge the clearance between the VS rod and body, then you need a stronger HS with a HSTA that has spring guide, and reg pressure of 1950-2000psi.

.25 std with 18.5″ ST barrel she shoots the king at 945fps and heavy’s to 850fps with above mods.

Yes it could be done only with pellet probe change but do not forget for transfer port in the valve… breech is the same probably 5mm I think. :winkn:

quote sniperlabyo:

No need to change breech only need the .25 probe and mag.

have mod .177 & .22 compact and standard to .25 cal before for customer and personal crickets.

Did you go to a larger plenum size too or just lift the reg pressure? I have a customer that wants to do the same.

Ok if a new breach is needed i think i will just skip it!

You can change barrels , no problem. The problem arises when you need to pay for a new breech for that .25 , and of course some mags. That is if you aren´t as filthy rich and good looking as i am .. 😯

I would contact ville
