changed talon trigger guard and butt plate
i was not satisfied with the standard butt plate and my finger would slide along the bottom of the trigger guard so here’s what i did:
they seem to work out well.

I started like that as well. Then I built one stock, then another…
I like the thing that cradles the tank and creates the vertical mount, what is it?

😀 …it’s a piece of angle…steel.
i notched a piece of steel and brazed the vertical arm onto the angle and cut out most of the angle, and shaped it with a grinder and file to lighten it and clamped it onto the tank via hose clamps after sandblasting and painting with brownells gun-kote…
it’s not as light as if it were made from aluminum, but i don’t have heli-arc or TIG capabilities and had to use oxy-acetylene brazing…
it’s very secure, durable and highly adjustable both in length of pull and height.
