sorry i dont have any pics, but it goes like this. get a second AF factory butt plate, bend the ends outward to your liking. line up the holes so that when both are facing up, the top hole of the second plate lines up with the hole that is typically the attachment point on the bottle of the first plate. the next holes down should line up and that is where you affix the two plates together by whatever screws/bolts/washers you feel serve you best. dont crank em too tight, and you should have a butt plate assembly that adjusts on 2 axis and can fold up to close to the original dimensions of a single plate when not in use. dont worry wok, i am making it abundantly clear to everybody that this is no substitute for the original, but is a poor mans way to make shouldering much more comfy.

I do like the look of that one.
The Spartan model has 1 1/2″ adjustment for height and no hole drilled into the shoulder piece.
To mount a wokbutt to a CO2 tank you either need to buy a Strap On Wokbutt like this ( Rail and stud not incl) But it is not cheaper 🙂
I make the Spartan model as an inexpensive alternative and they are special order I fit in with the normal Wokbutt production.
ill be cutting out some aluminum plates to thread and JB to the back of my co2 tanks, so they may work. 😉

I dont have any picts of the Spartan Model on hand. Maybe one of the members can post a pict.
But it is the exact same size as the wokbut. The mounting holes are set half inch apart to adjust for height. If someone wanted to they can drill and tap more holes got get more adjustment themselves.

how do I mount the spartan? do I need to depressurize the tank?
what are the basic differences between the standard wokbutt and the spartan? im lookin for sumthin cheaper to adapt to my 12 oz co2 tanks
I have no problem guys making stuff for themselves. I don’t mind at all even if guys make wokbutts for themselves. You will see a few on guys rifles here on the sight.
For those who want to save a couple bucks I make available the Spartan Wokbutt for $30. 
But to be honest once you use a real wokbutt it makes shooting the gun much more enjoyable 😀

It’s not as good looking as the original Wokbutt, but it does the job just as well. Perfect for the financially challenged shooter.
