Greetings from the middle east! I figured Id put some of my combat pay into toys so when I get home I can have something shiny and new to show for my time here. Figured it will be my deployment toy, 22 yrs in the Corps gift, 40 yr bday and 21 yr anniversary gift to my self! lol I got the combo with the mono ir spotting scope also so my son will have something to look through when we are in the media room all blacked out with the condor set up for coyotes. Should make for a good hunt. Now I just have to wait to get my butt home to play with it! Man I cant wait! Will be a blast to just sit there all quiet and blacked out no out door lights no nothing waiting on one to show up in the yard. Well till next time I swing by have a great spring and summer all. yes thank you for your service. regarding on ur new toys, congrats. i happen to have older gen. the ir torch that comes with it pretty much useless. cant see anything in the dark unless full moon. i bought extra ir light from streamlight. i think it was the tactical high power ir. i was kinda disappointed at first until u got the light. hope this helps

I cant wat to get it all set up. I was searching for IR/green laser setups. WIll be a ball when I get ashot on a yote. shits gunna look like starwars in my back yard. Also found a camera mount that should allow me to set up my sny camera behind my scope for some NVG scope cam action. Im going full retard on this one. lol Will be a fun way for me and my little man to hang out though. Take it easy. Time to Skype the old lady!

Yeah gen 3 is crazy expensive though. But very nice stuff for sure.
Thanks for the advice on the IR illuminator. Will see how all of it works out then I am sure I will want to tailor things.
Cant wait to get home and chill out and wait on the yotes. Wife shot me an email last night saying they were going crazy and very close. I told her to grab the gun and let them have it.
