Checking PSI Tank Pressure
Okay so I fill my talon tank to 2800psi via my scuba tank and refill clamp and I shoot around 30 shots, how do I tell how much is left in the tank????
If I attach the talon tank back to the scuba tank the gauge reads 0. Am I missing something here… how are you supposed to know whats left in the tank??

In a simple term, you can’t. When you connect to your fill source, yes the needle is at 0. As soon as you crack the valve on the fill source, the needle should take off rapidly, then momentarily stall at roughly the pressure left in your bottle as the bottle begins to fill from your source tank.
Just a close estimate of whats in your bottle is when the needle on the guage stalls before filling.
The zero PSI is the pressure in the hose… not the tank.
The hose (and therefore the gauge) will only become pressurized if you open the scuba tank valve…. once the pressure in the hose is the same as the pressure in the airgun’s tank the valve will open – you can feel and hear the valve open and you’ll also see the gauge slow suddenly as the air now has a space larger than the hose to try and pressurize.
So connect the tank, and follow filling procedure and keep an eye and ear out for when you hear the tanks valve open and see the needle slow down – that’s how much pressure is in the tank,
