Thanks guys
I think it looks better with the cheek piece on the gun.

I painted mine. The original one that was factory painted with some black garbage melted all over my face in the hot desert. My buddies didn’t tell me so we went out to lunch and hung out after a day of hunting while I had large black streaks across my face. I was going to send it back but I painted it myself and then put a clear coat over it. No more blackface :confusedn:

I don’t use mine either…. i use med rings and it puts my eye that much to high… plus i like to see the pellets too

My tactical .22 Cricket came with a wooden cheek piece and I am looking to purchase the synthetic so it looks correct.

:dito:

I removed mine. I like to see the pellet probe pushing in a load so I don’t dry fire it.

Yea, that is was she said you know. 😀

I have both the synthetic (painted) and the wooden pieces for use with either stock I put. I usually don’t use it because I too feel it gets in the way with loading and seeing my pellets. However one time I made the mistake of not closing the lever all the way back and upon firing I got a huge air bust (leak) all the way to my eye (the cheek piece would have protected my eye). that got me thinking that there is probably a safety aspect of it too. Sure its my mistake not to close it correctly but mistakes happen.

I had a similar experience when chronoing my cricket, I was distracted and did not close the lever and had the same blast of air and loud report. :ugeekn:
I always use the cover now.

I received a synthetic cheek piece with my. 25 synthetic cricket from WWAG.
Maybe a phone call will get you one.

I have the synthetic on mine and it’s no problem to load mags. I really like the cheek piece. I’d probably rust the barrel with my face. 😆

I don’t on my two skeleton stock Crickets. I have them attached to the guns with the 3M washable tape. They would loosen up quickly I think if you had to remove them a lot.

Yes I have the black Synthetic stock.
I am going to look around and see what they look like on the gun..
If you got to take it off to install a clip that’s a pain,

I only asked because I was told they were in short supply. The higher prices better include cheek pieces on all Crickets.

I bought one from Steve at WWAG and don’t use it. Gets in the way for loading mags IMO……..

It was $45.00 extra when I bought mine.

Mike, they just snap on and off very easy. Mines synthetic…let me know if you want to buy it…..
