cheek rest custom fitted to bsa scorpion tactical
Anyone ever used one of these on a rifle?? I am thinking about getting this one and shimming it to fit my BSA Scorpion tactical stock .22
I need to raise up at least 1.5 inches for a proper weld.
I’ve seen the ones that you can tie on, strap on, etc. but I think this will be cleaner. What do you think?????

Of course I have apprehension on drilling through that stock, but this is one of those things that is needed to be done if I am to utilize this rifle. My one complaint with this stock is that it should have had a higher rise in the cheek pad. My scope is a 40 mm and in order to clear the barrel I had to use the UTG rail… this allows no cheek weld whatsoever. You are basically shooting with your head pressed lightly against the side of the stock, almost upright.
Besides, I think form will certainly follow function as it will look good if I can do it right, that is.
Checked out the link grit, thing is, do you really wanna drill thru your stock to attach, unless you were checking out another one I didn’t see. Other than that it looks like it would work pretty good. Hey, it’s already black to. 😉
