“peace with a 25 MOA” – link?

There is either no factory
cheek piece for Taipan Veteran? Probably not, but is there one from another model that is compatible?
Anything else to ask though not related to the topic … How many of you with Taipan (please specify model and caliber) shoot right? Not from a table, bipod or lying on the ground?
I’m waiting to put on sale Taipan Veteran Standard 25 but I started to think about Short because I think I just shoot right.
In addition, I am 169 centimeters tall and short-handed – if I take Taipan Veteran Standard 25 plus Athlon Argos BTR 6-24×50 FFP optics then the rifle will go to 4.2 kilograms … Now my Hatsan 125 TH Vortex 22 with optics weighs 5.5 kilograms and I can not shoot for a long time and ask for that?
Thanks in advance!
I’m working on a new version which I can take the magazine out without removing the cheekpiece. If anyone is interest pm me for the stl file.

I have the Mutant long version, I’m not sure if it will fit the short or Veteran.
I would like to know if you can share the file for the cheekpiece?
Thank you
Greetings. I managed to 3d print one, works really well.

Tried a piece of Remwrap but didn’t like it too much so I made one out of kydex.
You could also try and use your non shooting hand/fingers over the receiver to cushion your cheek on …. or grow a beard. :biggrinn:

Yes, I’ve noticed this and have to press down on my cricket cheekpiece with the current low mounts.
No beard here, so maybe no cheekpiece at all is best
Thanks, this is a good idea for some added comfort 🙂
Keep it thin or you might need to raise your scope to compensate for a good eye alinment.

I cut a piece of PCP foam
Its so cheap I am not sure what the cost is, 10 cents maybe.
I also have tried some foam with sticky backing, That stuff is a pain getting off.

If the cold metal against your cheek is your concern, it’s easy enough to make one out of bow string silencer tape. It has an adhesive backing. Just cut the shape you want, peel the back off and stick it on. It took about 5 minutes to cut/install mine
