Chopping the TSS Shroud
Has anyone shortened their factory shroud? I am thinking of doing this to
reduce OAL. Seems pretty easy. Chop it, reshape the rails, drill a hole for
the grub screw. I would probably send it off to someone though as I have
no skills in these mods and very few tools.

😀 Didn’t even notice that… Just ment to show an example… if someone really wants one I’ll send 1 or 2 of my extras out.
Just remember that these will not hold the tank disk in place.

My HPA bottles are still in the factory wrap. You probably saw a pic of my CO2 set up. I bought a bunch of neoprene covers for a 9oz CO2 bottle hoping they would stretch enough to cover a 12oz bottle. Turns out they stretch enough to cover my 20oz bottle too. No idea why, but when I bought these mosrt were on close-out and I could not find any for a 12oz bottle. I got a lot of 10 off ebay for like $28. The neo would work fine on the AF bottles except that the end is open. You’d need a different way to mount the butt.

I think it’s more like 4+ inches shorter. There is a pic in the quick reference section with measurements.

I wanted the same thing but didn’t cut. I wanted a 2nd.
If you are sticking with one gun you could sell your frame and barrel and buy a CO2 talon from PA for $405, then sell the CO adapter and bottle. Probably come close to breakeven and have a new frame and trigger group.

The Reg. Talon is like 2 or 3 inches shorter if I recall correctly 🙄
I would think if you put the TalonSS frame in a chop saw, it would cut that aluminum just fine 😉 😉 😉
You would prob. have to get a block of wood or something to off set it cause the trigger guard or above the breech thingie
