Chrono question.
Will an airsoft chrono work to chronograph my shots using my matador
I’m looking at this one that has good reviews

As much as I like the CED M2, – it sucks when it comes to rigging and build quality. Apart from that all good, – but problems communicating with certain USB drivers. Meaning that you may not be able to transfer data to your laptop/PC. …….. 😥
The CED people blames Bill Gates/computer producers and vice versa. I have no clue who is right, – but have until recently used a laptop dedicated for the purpose which I know will co-operate with the CED M2. Not all do……..

Oddly enough, none of my (eight chronographs) will read exactly the same. There is some 10% difference in spead reading from the lowest to the highest…… 🙄
The beauty of the Crombo is it is very small, light and easy to use. And the readings are probably close to reality. AND above all it is cheap………

Get a Competition Electronics Pro Chrono for $100- or so off amazon or some other vendor.
Accurate,simple set up. and large sensitivity area.
I’ve been through quite a few chronographs. Currently use a CED Millennium. I like it a lot but still miss the simplicity Pro Chrono.
The folding Shooting Chrony sucks in actual comparison to both listed.
Hi Ville, no I do not have combro connected to laptop because I must buy a cable from combro to pc. I thinking about it couple of years and I still recording by pen 😀 no problem for me.
The cable should not be a problem do it my self, but the problem is get that little connector in combro.
Unfortunately the data cable has not been in stock for quite some time……… 🙁
Yes, buy direct from them or even ebay has them if you are more comfortable with ebay. You can buy the combro data cable for them too and link it to your laptop or desktop, so you don’t have to write each shot down by hand.

Do you have it attached to a lap-top ? I quess that will work … Or do you know something about the Combro that i don´t ??? In that case – tell me. I´m a moroon when it comes to any computers/tech items and electricity …
😆 Who say that combro is not for completely string? I´m using only combro and completly string is no problem 😀 but I can imagine more easily style like writing each shot to paper 😉
+1 for Combro. Easy to use little device that fits in your pocket. Not the best choice for doing complete strings but marvellous for checking the fps/fpe in a flick.
I have combro too. Those airsoft chronos may not be sufficiently accurate…
Doubt it, – and you run the risk of shooting it to pieces very quickly……….
Much better option is the Combro:
I have on of these myself, – and they get the job done very easily and at a moderate price too……. 😉

I don’t bring shot strings over to my PC so am not aware of those issues but certainly take your word for it.
I’ve no issue with the build quality as mine has been hanging tough for a bunch of years.
I have broken a couple of the plastic supports when my tripod fell over in wind but really my own fault for not having it braced for the conditions.
No issues with sensors or display unit.
But it does require a bit of set up compared to just setting down such as a CE Pro Chrono.
At one time I has a CE and Shooting chrony and they both gave exact readings with my bow.
the shooting Chrony required shooting MUCH closer to the sensors to get reding where as the CE was a just shoot and read as long as lighting conditions were conducive to such.
Although the fps is low at 290 my bow was very consistent shooting within 1 fps shot to shot so was a good barometer in my estimation.
Their readings also jived with readings from my pro shop’s.
So that gave me some confidence as to their being pretty close.
Oehler Ballistic Chronographs being redundant set the bench mark from what I hear but are a bit more than i want to spend.
Looks like the model you linked would compare favorably.
The combri is only a bit less than the CE Prochrono, not as versatile, and likely not as accurate.
But I get the attraction of it’s simplicity.
