Chrony Alpha results

So found a used one for sale so snagged it for $50 shipped. Just went out filled up at 3000 and put a few different pellets through it. Currently set up as a Talondor with 24′ in .22. 34g JSB Beast’s 850 fps, Eua jin 32g pointed 877 and standard 16g JSB’s at 1015. This is at 4.8 PW, power spring, heavy hammer with slap mod and TTQC top hat with the least restrictive insert in it and a washer behind the TH. Shooting plenty fast with that setup. Now I wanna snag a .25 barrel.

Sadly I have had this thing for years, I picked it up around 2007. I borrowed a chony way back then and did not keep any records and cannot remember what it shot in fps. I have no idea what it shoots. It is 100% stock and I have only taken it down to clean once, but it gets the bis done.lol I like shooting change and of course a varmint when the chance comes.

Nice! How’s yours set up? What kind of fps?

Kinda long but wait for it!!! Pointed EJ’s do the trick in My rifle. Could not get a JSB to do it. :4:

Mines been really good with the JSB’s. I will say the beast wasn’t as accurate as the other JSB’s though. Def going to shoot these EJ’s more now.

My Condor has always favored the EJ’s both pointed and round nose. The are My go to pill. :8:

I’m actually surprised at how well my guns shooting the EJ’s. Very accurate!!

Nice results. Never used the jsb but the 32 gr ej can do some serious damage. Turns out ground squirrels are highly allergic to them. :biggrinn:
