Q:

Clipping on both my Factory Cricket Shroud and the

after market shroud. Added could be double loading or screwing with new springs.

That’s crappy news about your shroud.

In case anyone else wants to try ?
I bought theses springs off of Amazon they work great and cheap also.

These are lighter than the OEM, I ordered them long, cut to 2″ long, close grounded and polished the ends myself.
Together with a Imppu v3 HST I’m able to adjust my Cricket Compact 177 from 8-20 fpe !

These I bought but haven’t try them yet, but seem to be about the same as the OEM or maybe stiffer, good for hi power tunes I’m thinking.

Yeah got a few springs from Ernest and of course I was fucking around. I double loaded a few times maybe and that might just be the exact reason for clipping on both shrouds. The clipping on the OEM is new and I always checked the front there was never any scratches near shroud exit until I noticed it today there is no clipping in the rear on both shrouds just lightly on the front exit-clipping. I am convinced it is double loading. Maybe new springs.

Could be from double loading or loading a pellet backwards.
Try shining a flashlight down front of the shroud and look into the back to see if a baffle is clipped.

What new springs ?
