CO2 adapter with remote hose ?
Has anyone ever thought about running their airforce rifles without a tank? I was thinking about using the remote line from a paint ball tank and connecting it to the co2 adapter. any thoughts?

It’s amazing how many people are thinking along the same lines but with so many variants…
I have been thinking of the same type of set up but different again with the usage, read on and you will probable work out my thought process before you get to the end.
.22 cal at 12FPE is great for up to 40 yard kills with bunnies and birds but it’s no where near enough for (accurate) longer shot for the same animals. Not to mention 12FPE is good to take down a fox at 15yards but not a chance in hell at 40 yards.
So a back pack adapted to hold two tanks, size don’t matter much so long as there are enough shots for the hunt/outing. I am thinking a 48cl with a 1400psi regulator and another around 20cl for a 700psi regulator (12FPE).
Next task is to find a way of connecting them all together. A simple way of doing this is to have two complete setups for the tanks and change over the cable for the different shot but this will be a bit noisy and time consuming.
The other option which will be more or less instant would be to find something that will fit into the end of the C02 adaptor with two inputs which are opened or closed with a switch. This will allow me, the shooter, to choose what tank to shoot with.
There are quite a few perks of this type of set up being:
1. The close up shots will be quieter when using the weaker regulator.
2. Through & through shots will not happen as often as you will be shooting with the right power for the job.
3. The longer shots are reachable as are the larger animals.
The other things to keep in mind are as follows:
1. POI – this will change with a weaker or more power full regulator so you will have to work out your aim points and remember them.
2. You will have to carry around this back pack all the time.
3. You will have to remember what tank goes to what hose.
