Q:

CO2 adaptor problem

I have a talon SS with a Co2 adaptor. I use a ‘Pure Energy’
12 oz. tank. Co2 never gets released into the AF Co2 adaptor
when the Co2 tank and the AF adaptor are attached.

The pin on the Co2 adaptor seems a tad short to press the
valve pin on the Co2 tank to release Co2 gas.

Thanks,

Talon/Talon SS

good call Maw and im glad to hear your back up and shooting… 😀

Thanks Maw. I believe you showed me how to fix it.

I fixed it by grabbing a screwdriver with a semi-circular plastic
end.

I placed the plastic end of the screw driver on the Co2 valve
pin and tapped the other end with a small hammer (very gently). I could feel a small amount of Co2 gas thru my fingers.

I slapped the adaptor back on the Co2 tank and attached it to
Talon SS. And it worked. Talon SS is back in action !!

Sometimes an overfull tank will not release the gas, try mannuelly releasing some gas with a pliers or something maybe the pin is stuck.

Tank is full. I got it refilled yesterday just in case.

Thanks again,

stupid question number two….is the co2 tank filled?? you should be able to feel the liquid co2 slosh back and forth as you tip it..

Yes, The Co2 adaptor and the Co2 tank are tightly connected.

I thought about using a different brand of Co2 tank but which one to choose?

P.S. AF should have made the pin on the Co2 adaptor about
1/16″ longer.

Thanks for the replies.

Ed,

stupid question time….is the co2 tank screwed into the adapter all the way??

Try a different tank.
