CO2 Talon SS
Swear…am going to put it back the way it was eventually. In several ways it’s exactly the WRONG look for an airgun (unless you like having the SWAT team stop by for a visit and a chat). Had 4 refillable 88gr. tanks left over from another project and decided to find a way to use them.
Only gets about 140-150 shots on 3 oz., but they are refillable and can be replaced though the back of the stock (when it’s collapsed forward).
Anyway….pretty sure this look is going to ‘”go” before too long.

Now that is a nice CO2 Talon.
Nice work. Is that an Airsource bottle screwed into the adaper with an Airsoft AR15 rifle stock!

How do you keep it from moving..I’m guessing the spring was taken out of the stock and the bottle fits inside? thanks!
Too cool. A really nice combo for sure. Being able to use that collapsible stock really sets it off.
that’s the thing about CO2…so long as their is some liquid co2 in the tank, doesn’t make a difference in speed if it’s hooked to a 3oz. or 30 pound tank.
Using a 16″ .22 barrel (which is why the short frame extension), self-made delrin barrel bushings, lightened hammer, and only pushing 14.3’s to 635fps…basically, it’s a well pumped Benjamin in power (but I don’t have to pump it and it’s a hell of alot quieter).
That thing is bad assed I wouldn’t chang a thing 😈
what kind of numbers are you getting for them 140 shots?
I really like it ! It always amazes me how all of these guns look the same when they come from the factory and how many different looks you can find them in on this site … a lot of creative people here 😀
I think it looks cool. Almost makes you wonder where the air is.

Started out as 88gr. AirSourse, but on another project, converted them to refillable paintball sized threads, so they get refilled.
One way is to use the basic paintball adaptor, which doesn’t have a pin valve inside it. But if you add an in-line on/off can refill them like any other paintball tank with a manual on/off.
The other way is to use a RAP4 88gr. paintball adaptor, which has a pin valve bulit in…so once you screw an 88gr to that adaptor, can treat it like a small paintball tank.

Is a RAP 4 stock, made to take 88gr. Believe you can still order just the stock if you already have refillable 88gr.’s…other wise order the stock, adaptor, 88gr. “kit”. Some kind of hard fiberglass material with metal fittings, seems tough but light. Got just the stock from my nephew (the paintballer).
It’s stablized by a metal plate…that plate has detents in it for the stock to shorten or lengthen. End of the plate had to be attached to the AirFroce co2 adaptor someway. Was clamped for tests.
Taking the falve off the adapter and measuring showed the adapter barely has enough room to tap a screw without causing a leak (there is a solid web between bottle and valve). So I drilled, taped, added s spacer to get the plate lined up level, and attached it with one screw.
88gr. aren’t a great fit (and some are out of round), but a couple of bands of tape around them to get them to a snug fit to the butt stock gives a wiggle-free feel to the stock.
Doesn’t do a DAMNED thing for performace, just gives the rifle a differnt look (and if you are hard core into “bling” could add a fake AK magazine just ahead of the trigger).
