Q:

CO2 valve on HPA tank.

Hi,
I just bought an unregulated (simple) HPA and have to put a AF valve on it.
I have the high flow (TalonP) valve and a CO2 valve.
Just preffer to use CO2, had anyone use CO2 valves at 3000 psi?
Thanks
Martin

I use co2 valve with a regulator on the tank. This worked out very well but not great if your after big power.

Thanks fro your answers!
It looks like its not a good idea.
I have read somewhere that it was the same valve but thats not the case.
I will use original TalonP valve until I get another custom one.
Thanks
Martin

While the CO2 adapter uses the high flow valve stem, there are differences.

The Condor brass high flow valve body better supports the valve stem and may also help prevent the stem from getting bent.

You often get what you pay for.

I have a high flow valve on my talon, that I removed from a co2 adapter. I could not get it to open well at 3000psi. I tried a heavy hammer, and backed off the valve spring adjustment, with not much improvement. I dropped the starting fill pressure down to 2000psi, and it works great! Good luck with your project.
